Two years after opening their doors, Restaurant L has landed a top spot on Forbes 2018 list of Most Romantic Restaurants in America. Entering the holiday season, this Cincinnati hot spot should be #1 on your destination list of charming spaces with luxurious ambiance and delicious eats.

Tilsley Architect’s has just completed a tasty project located down at ‘The Banks’ in Cincinnati, Ohio! We are excited for Condado Tacos’ newest location and encourage everyone to check out the tastiest new grub located right next to the Cincinnati Red’s baseball stadium. We are honored to have been able to help in the process of creating this new space and are thrilled with the success of the project’s completion! Congrats Condado Tacos! Coming this Spring is West Chester’s newest hotel! The newly developed Liberty Center is in need of a place to house all their guests! Currently under construction this Holiday Inn is in the epi-center of a fast growing community with new restaurants, shopping and entertainment. TA recently celebrated the grand opening of Concept Salon + Spa that is also located at Liberty Center! Check back with us for more updates on the official grand opening! The Cincinnati Design Awards “Celebrate the best in built environment design by Cincinnati-area creative firms.” For the 21st CDA, Tilsley Architects submitted design work on both The Monastery Event Center and MadTree Brewery. We are elated to announce both projects won Merit level awards which “Reveal what design can do when applied with wit and purpose.” We thank the CDA Jurors for acknowledging both projects and their outstanding commitment to well-thought design and innovation. Each project site was originally an abandoned space that Tilsley Architects observed with tremendous potential, to which led to a dramatic rebirth and rejuvenation to two very different though exceptional spaces created for the community. It is the holiday seasons and its time to pamper yourself and get fancy! This past spring TA had the opportunity to see a special project make waves (or curls) with its grand opening at Liberty Center! Pure Concept Salon + Spa is a full service center committed to providing wellness to the environment and community. We were thrilled to have been chosen for this project and enjoyed the process in designing for other types of artists!

The weather is getting cold but its time to head indoors for Fretboard Brewing’s big event! November 4th, 2017 is a great day for craft beer and music lovers as Cincinnati’s newest brewery opens their doors to the public for a grand opening event. Located in Blue Ash, Fretboard Brewing is throwing a Jam Session with a full line-up of musicians from 1pm-9pm. Check out their website here for more details. More exciting news from the drawing board of Tilsley & Associates Architects! A long awaited opening for the Louisville based breakfast joint, Wild Eggs, has finally arrived. Wild Eggs joins another of TAA’s projects, Restaurant L, in downtown Cincinnati’s Great American Tower. This Wild Eggs location features high end finishes with wild flare. Today is a special day at TAA. This week, Tilsley and the world of architecture gained another fully licensed Architect! Our very own, Kathleen Roosen finished her final exam August 7, then discovered she had passed. After acquiring her BA in Architecture from Miami University, Kathleen later received her M.Arch from The University of Houston. Once completing 6 grueling years in school, she began her required 3,500 IDP hours (Intern Development Program) to earn eligibility to begin taking her AREs (Architecture Registration Exams). Since completing all requisite criteria, Kathleen had the task of beginning her 5 exams to ensure her skills and capabilities were worthy of full licensure. With years of hard-work and determination, she passed each test with flying colors! We want to take this time to congratulate Kathleen on this huge career milestone and to acknowledge her perseverance through the difficult and seemingly never ending studying. We are so proud to have you on the Tilsley team and look forward to working along side you as the newest Registered Architect in the city!

At Tilsley & Associates Architects we are a friend to buildings as well as children! A few years back TAA worked on a little project, perhaps you’ve heard of it… Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati. Beginning with a steadily deteriorating site, TAA was able to revitalize what existed of the site and building prior to the renovation. Since completing the project, Children’s Theatre has wrapped up several successful seasons of performances. Most recently a sensory sensitive show has been developed for children with special sensory needs. You can read more about this new specialty performance here.
